Kempas is 135% as hard as red oak (1710 on the Janka scale vs. 1260 for red oak), making it a durable choice for residential and commercial applications. It is offered in 3/4″ × 3 5/8″ and 3/4″ × 4 3/4″ widths in random lengths of 1′–6′.
